"T-SQUARE New Member Audition" has been underway since last fall.
We are pleased to announce that the two finalists (guitar and keyboard) will be invited to a special live performance at COTTON CLUB on August 1 (Thu.) and 2 (Fri.), 2024!
The title is "T-SQUARE New Member Audition Final Live @ COTTON CLUB".
Most of the former members of T-SQUARE have climbed this staircase to become professional musicians.
Hiroyuki Noritake, Mitsuru Sutoh, Toyoyuki Tanaka, and Eiji Shimizu all joined Square when they were university students and started their professional careers.
The two finalists this time also happen to be active university students!
Of course, they had no professional experience at all.
Ito and Bandoh, who chose them for the competition, said, "We are very much looking forward to performing together.
There is something about them that has a new feel, something that is still rough around the edges, but has charm.
This is how talent blossoms, is nurtured, and great musicians are born.
We decided to hold this event so that everyone can witness this rare opportunity.
